The Comfort Project
The Comfort Project provides stuffed animals to children entering the foster care system at one of our partner organizations. It is a very scary and traumatic time when a child is removed from their homes. They have experienced neglect and abuse but it is still a very scary and traumatic time when a child is removed from their homes and goes to an unfamiliar and frightening place to live. The soft and cuddly stuffed animals provide security and positivity. They come with a note from Bay Hope – saying “We look forward to Hanging Out With You!” We receive such positive feedback! We happily accept new stuffed animals or blanket “throws”.
